Through my work in real estate, I donate a portion of my earnings to the Susan G. Komen fund with the Coldwell Banker, HPW Foundation.

Why? I want to help find a cure for Breast Cancer for my mother, my aunt, my friend, my daughter and your loved ones too!!

In addition to my work as a real estate broker assisting folks in the buying and selling of houses, I am a volunteer with Hospice of Wake County. I assist many breast cancer patients.

One dear patient revealed to me that “One in eleven people will get breast cancer" I had no idea, and have since learned the numbers are worse than that!

I help change the numbers!! A portion of my earnings go to Susan G. Komen.

I have earned the GREEN Designation from the National Association of Realtors.

This is a prestigious designation designed specifically for Realtors. I have gained

comprehensive knowledge of green homes and buildings and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.

There are over 700 builders in the North Carolina area that are building homes partnered with ENERGY STAR.

What makes a building or a home Green? In the United States there are three most widely recognized rating programs and certification:

1. LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, which is a third party certification program. The (USGBC) U.S. Green Building Council awards LEED for high performance green buildings. LEED sets design, operational and construction standards. Properties will qualify for LEED Certification by earning points in six areas.

Sustainable sites, Water efficiency, Energy and atmosphere, Materials and resources, Indoor environment quality, and Innovation and design process.
